About lifestyle yoga
i love inversions! im a handstand addict!!
Lifestyle yoga is based at Singapore and in Cardiff in the uk. I started practicing yoga in 1998, my first experience was ashtanga! a lovely indian teacher pushed me and inspired me to take my journey further. i lived in singapore for 12 years and did all my yoga training there with my two master teachers, they taught me a great deal but i learned myself how to control my life my mind and my body.
i've done many yoga courses over the last 10 years, including 200hr sivanada course, 200hr ashtanga 8 limbs with tirisula, pre/post natal tirisula 30hrs kids yoga tirisula, 30hrs kundalini yoga 30hrs tirisula, advanced 500hrs which includes meditation pranayama advanced and finally my masters course which was 1000 hr tirisula, this enables me to now teach you students to become teachers and to teach other teachers other yoga courses.
my journey hasn't been easy i've encountered a few serious injuries along the way, this is not from a yoga pose its from misalignment and lack of knowledge for the pose itself, i have however learned a valid lesson from my injuries and now have regained full strength and understanding of my body. everyone of us has a different body type so what might be right for you will not be the same for somebody else, yoga is not universal we are all different so take things easy, try and if the first option doesn't work for you there are always alternatives to all poses. This is yoga, have some fun with it and if you can't do it that's ok.
most importantly...have fun!! stay safe!!
